We take our inspiration from animals, nature, and our everyday environment to move our bodies in creative ways that promote strength, flexibility, and coordination. Breathing and visualization techniques encourage kids to stretch their imaginations and teach focus, relaxation, and self-control. April & May Yin Sessions

Yin Yoga Series - Part 1 and 2  Part 1: April 19th, 26th, and May 3rd Part 2: May 17th, 24th, and 31st  Yin Yoga combines principles of Chinese medicine, traditional yoga, and mindfulness. It is ideal for highly active people, those with stress / anxiety, and folks who struggle with flexibility.   The Part 1 series is designed for the brand new beginner and those who are not familiar with this style of yoga. Over the course of 3 weeks, you’ll learn the guiding principles of Yin Yoga, some basic postures and how to hold them for more than a minute, using props effectively as needed. This introductory series is great preparation for the next series.  The Part 2 series will build on the previous classes, introducing more advanced and longer held postures. Spending more time in a posture may introduce boredom or discomfort and we’ll address strategies for managing both. You will leave with a handful of postures and concepts that can be added to a home practice.  $50 per session, or $90 for both.

Enjoy the benefit of private instruction at a fraction of the cost in our small group beginners series. It is designed for people who are new to yoga or who have been away from it. In this four-class series, you’ll gain confidence in moving in and out of postures, develop camaraderie with other students who are learning too, and be prepared to enter a regular class with ease. Each class will introduce you to a new set of yoga techniques and then its application through movement and posture. We will work on breath, body alignment and awareness, proper muscle engagement, and more! You will receive one-on-one direction, hands-on assistance, and personal feedback in order to find modifications to best help you reach your potential. $80 for all 4 weeks. Thursdays 4:30pm, 60 mins. 10 spots available! *Must have 5 to run. April 18-May 9th.

*If Thursday afternoons do not work for your schedule, we are also running a Saturday morning session!

Experience healing and relaxation in this restorative yoga + Thai massage workshop. Rest in restorative yoga poses, supported with bolsters and blankets that bring you to a place of comfort and calm. Throughout the class, receive integrative Thai massage with gentle passive stretching, and heated herbal compresses.

It is recommended to dress comfortably for this class, and in layers as the body temperature may feel cool after time. You will remain in each restorative pose for several minutes, receiving bodywork periodically throughout the class. Arrive prepared to receive hands-on assist and massage.

Class space is limited to 12 people, so sign up quick! Please arrive to class a few minutes early and we recommend bringing your own yoga mat to the workshop.

Please bring a baby blanket and anything else your little one may need during class.   Join other moms in the area as you learn to move your growing or post-birth body safely. This class will focus on yoga for stress, sleep loss, and body aches associated with pregnancy and new motherhood. The classes are appropriate for both new and experienced students.   Drop in, class passes, and membership accepted.  Sign up on our  Schedule.

In this 90 minute workshop you will enjoy the benefits of restorative yoga and the sweet serenity of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep as it is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. The concept roots from ancient Indian tradition as a practice of opening to the deeper phases of the mind promoting the reduction of tension and anxiety as well as internal healing. They say one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to four hours of deep sleep.


What to expect:
We will begin with some yin/Restorative poses to prepare the body for meditation. We will then find comfort in a supported Savasana with blankets and bolsters and will begin our Yoga Nidra. The practice is a guided meditation taking you step by step to a blissful state of relaxation.
The only thing you may need is an open mind and possibly something to drape over the eyes for fuller relaxation.


No meditation or yoga experience is necessary.
