Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is a class that will have students linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere.  Expect this class to include traditional asana (poses) and sequences: sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, gentle backbends and an opportunity to learn/practice inversions. Open to all experience levels (beginners welcome!) and individual modifications will be available.

Power Vinyasa

A fitness-based approach to Vinyasa style flow. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. In a power yoga class, students will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work.

Community Yoga

You will work on strength-building, gentle lengthening of muscles and bringing full range of motion to the joints. This class is accessible for beginners while still being challenging for those that already have a practice. Enjoy a wonderful, multi-level yoga class at a reduced rate. This is our way of giving back to the community who gives so much to us. $7 OR you can use your membership or class pass.

Slow Flow

A slow paced vinyasa class balancing the perfect amount of effort and ease. Slow flow is designed to simultaneously build strength and fluidity by moving deeper into the muscles. Come ready to hold poses a little longer and breath a little deeper. By slowing down the practice, this allows for more time to focus on proper alignment of each pose. Beginners and seasoned practitioners alike will benefit from the pace and inward-focus of this class. Expect to leave feeling mellow, refreshed, and alive.

Restorative + Aromatherapy

Calm the mind and body with this soothing Restorative Yoga class.  Restorative yoga poses require no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks.  During the class, you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice thoughts and sensations in your body.  Students leave feeling nourished, well rested and refreshed; with a new cultivated awareness and clarity.  Guided mindfulness/meditation is also incorporated throughout the class. No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome. Savasana will be assisted by aromatherapy to soak in all the benefits of the practice.

Yin Yoga is a complementary practice to the more invigorating styles of yoga, such as Vinyasa or Power Yoga, that passively holds floor postures for several minutes. The intent of this practice is to restore and maintain the natural mobility of the joints by safely placing positive stress on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. Yin Yoga emphasizes stillness and silence, and allows students to practice being tolerant and receptive. Energetically, this practice aims to open the body’s meridian system known in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This class is suitable for all levels including people new to yoga.

Is our dynamic, low impact, full body workout that strengthens and activates each muscle in a unique and powerful way. In Flow Barre we will use our own body weight and a few basic props - free weights, a ball, resistance bands and the barre to sculpt different body parts. The movements in barre are joint-safe and allow you to engage your body and mind. Each class will be unique and structured to upbeat music, high energy and leave your muscles shaking for more.

Power Barre

Need a little more in a work out? Power Barre is our high intensity barre class that focuses on the fundamentals of barre while getting your heart rate up and sculpting each body part. Take everything you love about the isometric strength training barre gives and add a twist (SWEAT!)
